WRITTEN DIRECTIONS: From the intersection of US-202 (Concord Pike) & DE-92 (Beaver Valley Rd) proceed west on Beaver Valley for 1.4 mi. At stop sign go straight onto Beaver Dam Rd & proceed 0.7 mi. Turn left onto Brandywine Creek Rd & proceed 0.1 mi. The parking lot will be on the right.
LOCATION NOTES:Also known as “Peter’s Rock” or “Smith Bridge Picnic Area”. Formerly part of Woodlawn Trustee Estate.
Partial Closure of Smith Bridge Parking Lot.
Beginning November 29, 2021, First State National Historical Park will be restricting access to the Smith Bridge Parking Lot by closing the right side of the lot to allow for the landscape to recover and for maintenance.
This partial closer will remain in effect until March 1st, 2022.
