Meet for 9:00 a.m. start for 11-13 miles in rolling woods and meadows, lunch at BCSP headquarters, return along Brandywine Creek to cars. Bring water, lunch, snack. No parking fee. Yes, there will be ice cream somehow…

From the intersection of US-202 (Concord Pike) & DE-92 (Beaver Valley Rd) proceed west on Beaver Valley for 1.4 mi. At stop sign go straight onto Beaver Dam Rd & proceed 0.7 mi. Turn left onto Brandywine Creek Rd & proceed 0.1 mi. The parking lot will be on the right.

Date Posted: 8/10/2023Due to the recent storms, a number of large trees have fallen and continue to fall in and around the Smith Bridge Picnic Area & Parking Lot. Smith Bridge Picnic Area and Parking Lot will be closed starting at 4:00PM on August 8, 2023 until further notice.
