EVENT

WHEN:
DATE: 08/16/2017
TIME: 9:00am-1:30pm (prompt start, estimated end)
MILEAGE: 8 miles

DESCRIPTION: (Wear appropriate clothing & bring water!  Below are some special instructions: what to bring, relative difficulties, interesting features, and carpooling directions.)

Join us for the First Annual Big Elk Neck River Hike. Come let the river’s energy help you get through the hot, sticky days of summer.  This hike will stay within close proximity of the Big Elk River and will feature a one-mile segment of silent hiking to help us take in the smell, sounds and sight of the River (alternate path available for loud folks). Bring a towel so you can fully participate in our dangle-your-feet-in-the-River lunch.  It will be a lazy summer’s day on the River. Bring water and lunch.
