This hike will follow the Big Elk River from the historic Foxcatcher Farm Covered Bridge to Scott’s Mill.  The terrain is mostly flat.  Bring water, snacks, and lunch.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the DE/MD state line, take MD-273 west for 1.4 mi. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto Appleton Rd north & proceed 1.2 mi. Turn left onto Black Bridge Rd & park.
