This hike will be mostly on the new trails in White Clay Creek State Park’s Possum Hill area, which just reopened. Hike starts from 9 Foot Road parking lot at 9 AM and the hike will be at a medium hike pace. It will consist of two loops about 3+ miles each. Come do one or both loops. Bring water and snack. From the intersection of DE-2 (Kirkwood Highway) & DE-7 (Limestone Rd). Take DE-2 (Kirkwood Highway) west for 3.9 mi. Proceed north on DE-72 for 1.8 mi. Continue straight onto Thompson Station Rd for 0.4 mi. Before Deerfield Golf Course, turn right onto Fairhill School Dr / Nine Foot Rd. The parking lot is on the left.
