This hike will be mostly on the new trails in White Clay Creek State Park’s Possum Hill area, which just reopened. Hike starts from 9 Foot Road parking lot at 9 AM and the hike will be at a medium hike pace. It will consist of two loops about 3+ miles each. Come do one or both loops. Bring water and snack. Continue straight onto Thompson Station Rd for 0.4 mi. Before Deerfield Golf Course, turn right onto Fairhill School Dr / Nine Foot Rd. The parking lot is on the left.
Some maps indicate this unimproved road address as: Fairhill School Drive or Nine Foot Road. It comes off of Thompson’s Station Road. Whitely Farms trailhead is here. “Flying Knights” club flies their model planes nearby.
