Please come out and join us for our annual July 4 Holiday Potluck and Picnic; cancelled for 2 years due to Covid but now it’s back! Named in honor the late Ed Trahan, who led this hike with his wife Sue for many years. We will walk a short distance to our usual picnic spot behind Ag Hall at the U. of D. athletic complex, while the leader drives the “Sag Wagon” with chairs, folding tables and food. Please bring a dish to share as well as a folding chair to sit on during the Fireworks. After our picnic we will reload the “Sag Wagon” , relax on our chairs to watch the City of Newark fireworks, and then walk back to the Municipal Building. Leader will provide some paper plates and plastic cutlery but all are encouraged to bring their own plates, etc. Some port a pots are available but lines may be long.
