Join me to check out what is happening near the eagles’ nest.  Trails with beautiful views of Big Elk Creek, fair “hills”, and mud guaranteed.  Disclaimer:  Eagles may or may not be on the nest so eagle sightings not guaranteed!

Bring water, lunch and binoculars, if you so chose.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From the DE/MD state line, take MD-273 west for 1.4 mi. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto Appleton Rd north for 1.2 mi. Turn left onto Black Bridge Rd & continue across the Appleton North parking lot & proceed 1.0 mi. Turn right into the parking lot in sight of the covered bridge.


LOCATION NOTES:

There are no street addresses on Blackbridge Rd. You will drive across the Fair Hill Natural Resources Area – P3 (Appleton North) lot. This lot is at the southern end of Black Bridge Rd, just before it meets Tawes Dr and view of the Fox Catcher Covered Bridge.
