DESCRIPTION: (Wear appropriate clothing & bring water! Below are some special instructions: what to bring, relative difficulties, interesting features, and carpooling directions.)
Note the start time for this hike is 9:30 AM. Due to this earlier start time, restrooms at the Delaware Art Museum will not be available. A porta-potty is available under the Van Buren St. Bridge that we will walk by.
Enjoy this loop hike on paved walkways from the DE Art Museum through parts of Brandywine Park, to the Market St. Bridge and back via Conaty Park. As there are some hills and uneven brick walkways, trekking poles may be useful. This is a mostly shaded walk through our urban parks and early suburban Wilmington along the Brandywine River.
