Join us for a relaxed walk around Crosslands, part of the Kendall-Crosslands Community. We will walk on paved paths, sidewalks and covered walkways around the campus, with brief stops to enjoys the lovely views of its meadow,pond and woods. One small gravel path at the beginning of the walk.
Meet at the entrance to the Native Plant Preserve just before parking lot #14. Restrooms available mid-hike. Option to hike part of meadow perimeter path at the end of the hike where trekking poles will be useful.
Directions: Follow Route 52 to Route 1. Turn left at Route 1 . At the next light turn right to continue on Route 52. At the next light, turn right onto Route 926/Street Rd. Turn right into Crosslands and continue right on the road. Turn right at the Native Plant Preserve sign, then turn left into Parking lot # 14 or right to Lot #20. if full, pull into the Ambulance Lot.
Please note earlier start time for hike due to hunting in the perimeter/meadow lot after 2:30.
