This hike is around the perimeter of the Crosslands community and adjacent to Kendal at Longwood. It is on both meadow trails and the hilly terrain of woods trails between the two communities. Some portions of the woods trails are steep and have roots and rocks. Trekking poles are advised. Rest rooms in Community center mid hike. We will meet at the new Pickle Ball court in front of Ellerslie House at Parking Lot 10. Enter Crosslands from Rt. 926 and take an immediate LEFT on Crosslands Dr. Turn Right at sign for Ellerslie and Parking Lot 10. Turn left at top of hill and park in Lot 10 [15 spots]. Overflow parking in Lot 9 to right of Ellerslie and Lot 11 across the street. Lunch option at Crosslands’ Ponds Edge Cafe. Cash only, no cards.
Directions: Follow Route 52 North to Route 1. Turn left on Route 1 South . At the next light turn right to continue on Route 52 North. At the next light, turn right onto Route 926/Street Rd. Go 1/4 mi. and turn right into Crosslands and take an immediate LEFT on Crosslands Dr. See above for parking.
