Description:
BREIA is a favorite and free ski/snowshoe spot for WTC. We’ll stay in a house in Forestport, NY, just minutes from the trails. The house has 4 bedrooms (3 double beds and 1 single) and 1.5 baths. I recommend sharing meal prep and costs for breakfast and dinner; bring your own lunch. There are limited options for dinner at local restaurants and takeout. The drive from North Wilmington is 5+ hours; carpooling is encouraged. All participants must be fully vaccinated.

Black River Environmental Improvement Association (BREIA) is a not-for-profit corporation funded by a private family foundation, as a gift to the people of New York. Access to the trails and facilities is free, and donations are never accepted. The trails remain open throughout the year, and offer hiking and cycling opportunities during the warm seasons. BREIA now boasts more than 50 kilometers of trails, making it one of the largest classic cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain cycling trail systems in the East.
