Cross Country Ski/Snowshoe Lapland Lake

Costs:

• Lodging: Inn at the Bridge, rates range from $179 to $199 per room per night. (plus 12% total local and state taxes)
• Ski venues: Lapland Lake, $25/day

Driving: About 5 hours from Wilmington via NJ Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and I-87, I-90 and NY 30. About 10 miles from the Inn to the ski area.

We will stay at Inn at the Bridge, 641 Bridge Street, Northville, NY 12134. innatthebridge.com, 518-863-3174. (Current website description of breakfast, bath robes, and “tea” is out of date) The Inn is a beautifully restored Victorian building looking out over the Great Sacandaga Lake. Register with the leader first, then make your own reservation with the lodge.

Let them know you are with the WTC group. Most rooms are double beds. There are 6 rooms total plus common areas. Includes buffet style continental breakfast. All rooms have a private bath. We’ll be skiing at Lapland Lakes Ski area (https://www.laplandlake.com/) which is a good place for beginners. Lapland has about 50 km of ski trails, 12 km of snowshoe trails, rentals and lessons. Dinners at local restaurants. All participants must abide by WTC Covid guidelines.

Bring a pair of slippers or socks to wear, we leave our shoes in the mud room.
