Mountain Meadows Cross Country Ski has man made snow in the off chance that natural snow is scarce. Killington is known as having the best Alpine skiing conditions in Vermont. 20 mins away is Mountain Top Inn Crittendon, which has cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, sleigh rides, dog sleds, and a spa. Woodstock Inn, also 20 minutes away, has cross country skiing and a warming hut, upscale dining options; Tubbs snowshoe center and fat bike rental. For Alpine skiers, Suicide Six and Quechee also offer inexpensive lift tickets. Quechee State Park, if conditions allow, can offer xc skiing and snowshoeing into its famous gorge.
