(But they are “good “miles!) A strenuous but rewarding 10-mile hike up and down the hills on the east side of the Susquehanna River, including several good viewpoints, and a visit to Wind Cave. Expect several rocky sections and stream crossings. Bring lunch and water. Bad weather/slippery conditions (or low turnout) cancels. Driving distance is 50 miles, plus 7-mile shuttle. We will leave promptly at 8:00 a.m. (You must contact the leader if meeting at the trailhead.)
