This hike has lower mileage (10-12) but they are “good” miles! We will go up and down the hills on the east side of the Susquehanna River. Expect several rocky sections (including the climbs) and stream crossings. This is a strenuous hike with tricky terrain. Bring lunch and plenty of water. Bad weather cancels. Driving distance is 50 miles plus shuttle. We will leave promptly at 8:00 a.m. You must contact the leader if meeting at the trail.
This is a WTC COVID compliant hike. You will need to be comfortable riding with others for the shuttle.

From the intersection of DE-2 (Kirkwood Hwy) & DE 41 (Newport-Gap Pike). Proceed north on DE 41 (Newport-Gap Pike) for 5.1 mi. Turn left onto Yorklyn Rd & proceed 0.1 mi. The parking lot is on the left.

A frequently used carpool meeting location. This is a DART Park and Ride Location.
