August 24, Cheslen Preserve South. Leaders: Pat Meehan (H: 610/361-9578; C: 484/983-9298) and Dave Walsh (H: 610/361-2090; C: 484/844-0551).
Arrive ready to leave at 10:00 a.m. from the Lenfest Center (1199 Cannery Road, Coatesville, PA 19320) for a 4-mile hike. We will walk around the south and east of the preserve which is partially wooded. The trails are not paved but are well maintained, and there are some hills.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of US-1 and PA-82, about 2.5 mi North of Kennett Square, PA. Proceed north on PA-82 for about 2.5 mi. Pass Unionville High and then the Middle Schools to a roundabout. Turn right on Doe Run for 0.2 mi. Turn left down Oak Tree Rd for 0.8 mi to a tee intersection on PA-842. Turn right & proceed 0.5 mi. Turn left on Cannery Rd & proceed 1.4 miles. Turn left at the entrance to the Preserve. Continue to the Lenfest Center parking lot.
