We will be hiking the Goose Lenape Long Loop, mostly in the Middle Run Valley Natural Area. We’ll be hiking portions of the Snow Goose, Lenape, Tri-Valley, Double Horseshoe, and Possum Hollow trails. Moderate pace and moderate level of difficulty. Mostly in the woods, some fields and tall grass, hills, rocks, tree roots. Some bridges have inclined portions so we’ll be extra cautious with those. There is 1 small stream to ford. Numerous intersecting trails, so follow the leader. Hiking poles are helpful. There may be bikers on some of the trails. Bring water.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From Capitol Trail / DE 2 / Kirkwood Highway, turn north on Polly Drummond Hill Road and travel about one mile. En route, pass the Judge Morris entrance to WCCSP on the right. En route, continue straight at the traffic light with Old Coach Road, Make the next left into the church parking lot. If you get to the Parkview Assembly of God or to New Linden Hill Road, you went too far. At the church entrance, you may see a sign for “Pike Creek Christian Preschool” as well as one for “Pike Creek Bible Church”.
