Arrive ready to leave at 10:00 a.m. at the Mount Lebanon Methodist Church. The hike is about five miles and consists of a long downhill and shorter uphill at the end. The trail is mostly wooded and shady. The trail is narrow and some sections are rocky. Have to make a stream crossing across Rocky Run. Wear hiking shoes or boots – not sneakers. On the return, we will hike right next to the Brandywine Creek for a mile. Restrooms are at the Thompson’s Bridge parking area about halfway.
