This flat 12 mile ride on a paved road winds through the refuge and around several ponds. We can increase the distance by riding one or more of the loops twice. There are views of wetlands, ponds, and woods plus the chance to see migratory birds such as osprey, geese, swans, herons, and ducks on their fall migration. NOTE: The Nature Center is closed due to the pandemic and the entrance fee is waived. The restrooms are also closed although porta potties are nearby. A picnic pavilion near the Nature Center with multiple tables will allow us to enjoy a socially distanced picnic after the ride so bring a lunch.
