This hike will be flat, and may be muddy. Hike goes through Blackbird State Forest; mostly wooded, some field edges. Bring water and lunch. Keep your eyes open for turkeys–the feathered kind!
- Carpool Meeting: Meet at Suburban Plaza Shopping center at the bank parking lot; we will leave there at 8:00 a.m. Hike leaves at 9:00 a.m.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the DE-1 exit of I-95. Take DE-1 south, going over the Roth bridge take the right exit before the toll to DE-13 south. Proceed south on DE-13. Just past Townsend, DE-71 will join from the right, proceed about 1 mi. Turn right onto Blackbird Forest Rd. Proceed about 1.2 mi crossing the RR tracks. Just past Oliver Guessford Rd turn left into the Tybout Tract of Blackbird State Forest. Proceed about 300 yards, to the rearmost parking lot.
