This hike is through woods, field and stream in Woodlawn Trust wildlife preserve. There will be some stream crossings; boots, walking sticks and insect spray are recommended.
Additional notes on directions: There is a left turn lane from northbound Rt. 202 on to State Line Rd. The closest address is for Springfield Opticians, 16 Wilmington Pike, Chadds Ford, PA 19317. Please park away from the stores in the back.

This property is owned by Woodlawn Trustees and contains the headwaters of Beaver Creek, which feeds the Brandywine Creek, impacting water supply. The land also abuts the First State National Historic Park.
