Harriman SP, located in the Palisades region of New York, is the second largest park in the state with plenty of park trails crisscrossing it. Last year we hiked a loop in the northern section of the park, this year we plan to do a loop in the southern section. Elevation changes will be moderate throughout the route which will be about 20 miles in length; about 8 miles the first day, and 12 the second. However we can adjust distances on the fly. Trailhead is at the north end of Johnsontown Rd. (41.180061N, -74.163780W). Contact Paul for more details.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From Sloatsburg, NY, continue north on NY-17 to right turn onto Seven Lakes Drive. In about 0.8 miles turn left on Johnsontown Road then a quick right to stay on Johnsontown Road. Continue about 1.3 miles to the end of Johnsontown Road.
