This is a new Milers hike, and may involve some scouting during the hike. We will hike in Auburn Valley State Park and Land Conservancy of Southern Chester County lands, along the the Red Clay Creek and adjacent hills. Some historical sites will be visited along with the first of four new bridges across the Red Clay Creek and tributaries. Lunch will be outside on the deck at the leaders house (a real bathroom is available) on the hike route. Garden tour available as desired. Bring water, lunch, snack.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of Route 41 and Yorklyn Road in Hockessin, take Yorklyn Road towards Yorklyn about 1.9 miles. The parking area is on the left. If you go over the bridge, you have gone too far.
