This hike will include trails at Ashland Nature center and some trails that are not open to the general public, as well as the Floodplain, Treetop, and Covered Bridge trails.  At this time of year, birds will be nesting, many wildflowers should be in bloom, and the forest canopies will be in full-leaf.  Hike a few of the hills in the woodlands that have not been disturbed in over 100 years.

This exclusive hike is not one that the public can do, and is being offered by the Delaware Nature Society. Meet at Ashland Nature Center.

The Delaware Nature Society has done a superb job at creating/maintaining animal habitat. Small donations are appreciated to support the preservation of Ashland.

Bring snacks and water.

Carpooling is strongly encouraged.

Poles are recommended if you use them.
