Meet at Brandywine Creek State Park nature center by noon for a 5-6 mile hike, not too fast (but not a snail’s pace, either). Bring water and remember to *bring your own fruitcake”. Snow may cancel, depending on how much snow there is; call hike leader by 9:30 that morning if you are uncertain about whether we will be hiking. The nature center is accessible by using the park entrance on Adams Dam Road. No restrooms available that day.

WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:
From the intersection of DE-100 (Montchanin Rd) & DE-141 (Powder Mill). Take DE-100 (Montchanin Rd) north & proceed 2.1 mi. Turn right on Adams Dam Rd. Then left into the park entrance. Stay left to reach the main visitors lot.
