Description: Join us for five days of cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and downhill skiing in the White Mountains of
New Hampshire. The plan is to enjoy three different xc and snowshoe venues, including
the Jackson Ski Touring Center, Bretton Woods, and Great Glen Trails. Suitable for all levels of skiers,
from beginners to advanced. Rentals and lessons available at all locations. For the alpine enthusiasts or
those who want still more variety, Attitash, Bretton Woods, and Wild Cat Mountains are nearby for
downhill skiing too.
ACCOMODATIONS: We will return to the historic Eagle Mountain House in Jackson NH, with
comfortable rooms and lounge areas. Ski out the door for the Jackson Ski Touring Ctr, or it is a short
drive to either Bretton Woods or Great Glen Trail.
Hotel Rates include a full breakfast each morning*: Single = $157.90 per night; Double = $185.60 per
night, including taxes, gratuities, and fees. You can upgrade to a mountain view for a bit more. If
interested, ask when you make your reservation.
TRAILS & TRAIL FEES: Trail fees range from $10-21 per day. Senior rates available at some venues on
specific days. Lots of groomed trails at all venues, with varying degrees of difficulty, and great lodges for
hot soup, a quick sandwich, or warm beverage.
DINING: There is great variety for Dinner options including the Eagle Mountain House or numerous local
restaurants. You can find upscale fine dining or simple pub food, whatever you are in the mood for.
DRIVING: 9½ hour drive from Delaware, all interstate except for last hour. More detailed information
on routing provided later.
