PADDLING Touring Paddling -- for miles on 05/07/2023 @ 12:00pm - 5:00pm -- Cold weather gear is recommended for this paddle as it is still early season and the water temperature is about 57 degrees. Meet at the Newport Boat Ramp at 12 noon. High tide is at 2:44 pm. We will paddle with the tide to White Clay Creek and paddle up the creek. We return with the outgoing tide. Please email the leader to attend and include your cell number. If you use a GPS system enter the nearest address (301 Harvey Dr, Newport) not the exact coordinates. Those coordinates have been a problem for some GPS systems. At that address, turn off Harvey Drive onto Thoms Way at the sign for the Newport Boat Ramp – DNREC. Proceed to the parking lot at the end of Thoms way. There is no shuttle.
