PADDLING Whitewater Paddling -- for miles on 03/26/2023 @ 12:00am -- Muddy Creek WW Trip – Sunday, March 26 Must have appropriate gear. Also need to be able to roll or self rescue. HIKING Sunday Hiking -- for 6-7 miles on 03/26/2023 @ 9:00am - 12:00pm -- There will be some hills. Hiking boots are recommended and hiking poles are optional. Be aware that state park fees commence on March 1.
PADDLING Touring Paddling -- for miles on 03/26/2023 @ 10:15am - 2:00pm -- The group will paddle with the tide downstream and back for approximately two hours. Cold water immersion gear is necessary, as are skirts. There will be a lunch stop. Please email the leader (Chris Coyne, ) to attend with any equipment needs and include your cell number. WTC WTC Volunteer Opportunities (Recurring) -- for miles on 03/26/2023 @ 1:00pm - 3:00pm -- This project’s objective is to increase plant diversity and help preserve the native plants by removing non-native invasive plants. Wear long sleeves and pants, work gloves. Bring tools such as loppers, hand saws, pruners, shovels. All help is welcome and there is work for all levels: from pulling easy to remove honeysuckle vines, to sawing down linden viburnum. The walk to the worksite varies between 0.25 to 1.0 mile.
