HIKING Thursday Hiking -- for 4-5 miles on 03/23/2023 @ 10:00am - 12:00pm -- This hike includes trails in both Auburn Valley State Park in Delaware and adjacent Marshall Bridge Preserve in Pennsylvania. We’ll be walking in fields and woods with some hills, and have a small stream crossing. Trekking poles are advised. Remember, that Delaware State Park parking passes are now required. If you don’t have one, the Senior Lifetime Park Pass is well worth the price for Delaware residents, especially since the Trail Club hikes frequently at state parks. The pass is a one-time purchase, and don’t expire until you do. Annual passes are also available, as are daily fees paid into boxes at park entrances. They can be purchased on line or at specific locations. Go to https://destateparks.com/PassesTagsFees to see costs and how to obtain. Another option is to carpool with someone that does have a pass.
