WTC WTC Volunteer Opportunities (Recurring) -- for miles on 11/24/2022 @ 9:00am-11:00am -- This project’s objective is to increase plant diversity and help preserve the native plants by removing non-native invasive plants. Wear long sleeves and pants, work gloves. Bring tools such as loppers, hand saws, pruners, shovels. All help is welcome and there is work for all levels: from pulling easy to remove honeysuckle vines, to sawing down linden viburnum. The walk to the worksite varies between 0.25 to 1.0 mile. HIKING Holiday Hiking -- for 4-5 miles on 11/24/2022 @ 10:00am-12:30pm -- Come enjoy a chance to burn some calories before Thanksgiving with friends on the Weatherhill Path. Paved paths, no streams, some uphills and downhills on a down-and-back hike. Your hike leader, Fran Battaglia, is open to the idea of getting together for a bite to eat after the hike. It can be discussed at roundup. Please be ready 15 minutes beforehand, for sign-in, and a chance to say hi. Meet at the Delcastle Recreation Tennis Court Lot.
