HIKING New Member Hiking -- for 3-5 miles on 08/13/2022 @ 8:30am - 10:30am -- August is historically warm (hot) and muggy. This hike can be 3 to 4 ½ miles depending on weather and attendee desires. Please plan on 3 stream crossings if it is the short 3-mile hot weather hike. This is a loop through the woods on natural trails. The 4 ½ mile option also has 2 early outs for 3 and 4 miles. This longer hike will use portions of a Ranger Recommended Hike which has hills. Most of this hike is on natural trails with a few gravel stretches. Please bring plenty of water and we will discuss lunch afterwards.
