HIKING Saturday Long Hiking -- for 10-12 miles on 06/26/2021 @ 8:00am - 5:00pm -- This hike has lower mileage (10-12) but they are “good” miles! We will go up and down the hills on the east side of the Susquehanna River. Expect several rocky sections (including the climbs) and stream crossings. This is a strenuous hike with tricky terrain. Bring lunch and plenty of water. Bad weather cancels. Driving distance is 50 miles plus shuttle. We will leave promptly at 8:00 a.m. You must contact the leader if meeting at the trail. This is a WTC COVID compliant hike. You will need to be comfortable riding with others for the shuttle.
PADDLING Training Paddling -- for miles on 06/26/2021 @ 8:45am - 3:00pm -- Pre-registration is required and may be completed on the kayak training website – https://www.wtckayak.com/touring-training/ This is a covid-19 compliant event – please bring a face mask, hand sanitizer, etc. Proof of vaccination is required of all participants as there may be times when we are unable to maintain social distancing. DATES SET: 26 and 27 June 2021 on various sections of Lehigh River. More info and registration links will be posted soon on http://www.wtckayak.com. It won’t be our usual format, but there will be opportunities for learning and advancing in whitewater kayaking. The schedule will be a bit more flexible this year.
