PADDLING Whitewater Paddling -- for miles on 07/04/2020 - 07/05/2020 @ All Day --
HIKING Saturday Medium Hiking -- for 8 or less miles on 07/04/2020 @ 8:30am - 12:00pm -- This is the only Saturday Medium Hike this day. There will be no lunch stop. It is recommended you bring water and snack. You must maintain a 6′ social distance and if not, you must were a mask. A mask must be with you. It is recommended you bring sanitizer and your own pen for signing the release. The leader will have sanitizer. According to Club current coronavirus rules only 10 hikers are permitted on each hike. RSVP is required on or after Sunday, June 28, to Leader: Peggy Bell After signing up for a hiking spot and you find you cannot make it, please, let the leader know ASAP so another hiker may take your place.
HIKING Saturday Short Hiking -- for 4-5 miles on 07/04/2020 @ 8:30am - 10:30am -- This hike is limited to 10 people and we will adhere to the current park Covid 19 rules: you must have a mask and must wear it when social distancing of at least 6 feet cannot be maintained. To come on this hike, you may email the leader starting June 28, to reserve your spot. If you are accepted on the hike but have to cancel, please notify the leader ASAP so that someone else can take your spot. Please bring your own pen and hand sanitizer, however, leader will also provide both. Please bring water, as weather is likely to be hot We will have water breaks where social distancing can feasibly be done. The path is paved and mostly shaded, although there are a few sunny areas. Comfortable walking shoes are OK. The trail is also hilly with one majorly steep hill (we will go slow on this one!)
Touring Paddling -- for miles on 07/04/2020 @ 10:00am - 3:00pm -- This is a COVID-19 compliant paddle. We will be maintaining social distancing when possible and wearing face masks as necessary. Please bring a face mask, hand sanitizer, and your own pen to sign the liability/release form. Please bring a lunch to eat in your boat. The paddle is limited to 10 people and you must RSVP the leader (Bob Kissell) via email to attend. RSVPs will only be accepted 6 days prior to the day of the paddle (i.e. starting Sunday June 28). After 10 are signed up you will be placed on a waiting list.
