WTC WTC Volunteer Opportunities (Recurring) -- for miles on 06/11/2020 @ 9:00am - 11:00am -- This project’s objective is to increase plant diversity and help preserve the native plants by removing non-native invasive plants. Wear long sleeves and pants, work gloves. Bring tools such as loppers, hand saws, pruners, shovels. All help is welcome and there is work for all levels: from pulling easy to remove honeysuckle vines, to sawing down linden viburnum. The walk to the worksite varies between 0.25 to 1.0 mile. HIKING Thursday Hiking -- for 4 miles on 06/11/2020 @ 10:00am - 12:00pm -- This hike is limited to 10 members only, including the leader. To register for this hike, please email Marty Kritkausky at . The first nine to RSVP as of this posting will be notified by the leader of their acceptance to join the hike. Other respondents beyond the first nine will be added to a wait-list and will be contacted by the leader should any of the original nine cancel their participation. This hike will follow the WTC Covid-19 guidelines. One toilet will be available on site at the Blue Ball Barn, halfway through the hike. Please bring your mask, sanitizer, water, any snack and your own pen for the sign-in process. This is an out and back hike from the Ball Fields parking lot, to Blue Ball Barn and return. No state fees are required for the large parking lot at the ball fields starting point.
