WTC WTC Volunteer Opportunities (Recurring) -- for miles on 03/19/2020 @ 9:00am - 11:00am -- This project’s objective is to increase plant diversity and help preserve the native plants by removing non-native invasive plants. Wear long sleeves and pants, work gloves. Bring tools such as loppers, hand saws, pruners, shovels. All help is welcome and there is work for all levels: from pulling easy to remove honeysuckle vines, to sawing down linden viburnum. The walk to the worksite varies between 0.25 to 1.0 mile. HIKING Thursday Hiking -- for 4 miles on 03/19/2020 @ 10:00am - 12:30pm -- Enjoy the budding signs of Spring in this historic setting with wooded trails, rolling hills and meadows. You’ll see the old stone grist mill and adjacent barn, an historic relocated ice house and use stepping stones to cross the West Branch of Chester Creek. Trekking poles are advised and meet-up is adjacent to the parking lot by the Visitors Center.
