WTC WTC Volunteer Opportunities (Recurring) -- for miles on 10/31/2019 @ 9:00am - 11:00am -- This project’s objective is to increase plant diversity and help preserve the native plants by removing non-native invasive plants. Wear long sleeves and pants, work gloves. Bring tools such as loppers, hand saws, pruners, shovels. All help is welcome and there is work for all levels: from pulling easy to remove honeysuckle vines, to sawing down linden viburnum. The walk to the worksite varies between 0.25 to 1.0 mile. HIKING Thursday Hiking -- for 4-5 miles on 10/31/2019 @ 10:00am - 1:00pm -- Meet-up at the Judge Morris Estate parking lot for a hike through this beautiful wooded part of White Clay Creek State Park on dirt path trails. The site includes an historic home dating to 1790. Bring water and poles for some moderate hills. Parking fees are in effect ($4 residents, $8 non-residents).
