Join me for a hike in the Carpenter Rec Area and WCCSP.  We will hike on dirt trails that are rocky with roots in some areas.  The terrain consists of rolling hills and stream crossings via bridges.  Bring lunch, water and bug spray.  Poles are recommended if you use them.

Rain and thunderstorms!

Please join us for a 3.5 mile hike, leaving at 10 am from the Curtis Mill Park parking lot at 297 Paper Mill Road, with lunch option at Timothy’s. The hike will include a walk along a raceway to dam #5, and finish with a view from the top of the Newark Reservoir, and is a great way to spend a morning in July!

This hike is on natural surface trails with exposed roots and rocks. We will see some historical sites along the way.  Hiking poles are recommended. There is an early out that will make your hike 2.5 miles, and one that will make your hike 7 miles.  Bring lunch or brunch and water.

This will be an easy  out-and-back hike beside the beautiful White Clay Creek to Lot 1 in the Preserve.  Terrain is mainly flat and in the shade and there will be some rocks and lots of roots .  Hike is suitable for all hiking abilities and we will have several rest/water break stops.  Please bring plenty of water to stay hydrated and bring bug spray.  Poles are optional, bring them if you usually use them.  Hiking boots are recommended.
