Good article from Paddler Magazine 

 

Click here for an article in the current issue of Paddler Magazine entitled "The Weakening Bond" Paddlers used to look out for each other. Do we stil? by Doug Ammons. I think it is a very good article.


Remember, there is no gauge on the Muddy!

I've heard comments like that from various people as 3'rd hand accounts.  The common thread seems to be playboaters, not river runners.  I'm not particularly concerned though, as I continue to see comoradarie on the rivers we paddle very high, and people exceptionally nice and helpful.
