We put on about 10:45 under cloudy skies(after signing waivers) to run White Haven to Rockport. The crew included Tom, Steve, Bob, Patti F, Sharon Laas, Andy, Chris,Jose and newcomer Juan.
The trip was unevenful UNTIL "No Way". As Juan was entering, Bob was telling him to be careful about hole in front of him. Juan punched through, Bob went around (he had rolled in it end of last season). HOWEVER, Bob hit another hole and rolled. After recovering Bob went over again, hit a rock and swam, thereby hiking most of "No Way". Tom went after the gear. Steve ended up tethering to the boat, but later swam. Now we had two boats over and two swimmers. Everything ended ok. Bob isn't sure what happened but is now thinking it was karma biting him in the a** for wanting to hang out in "No Way" and harrass rafters.
Patti F and Sharon made a bee line for the take out after "Lunch Rock" and were never seen or heard from again (hope they are ok?). Half the group went to PowerHouse for dinner (the classy half), and the other half (the less classy half) to The Ugly Mug. Guess who was in what group!
